SAVE THE EARTH! RECYCLE A BOTTLE

                                                 

Until today, our school has collected many items like empty glass bottles, plastic containers, aluminum cans and tins. We collected all these items from the students of SJK(C) Kong Min. We are grateful for all the students cooperation and this made our recycling campaign a succeed.

Our school team, the “Green ambassador” has also given a speech on this campaign. It is important for them to know that they must not pollute the environment and waste energy and resources. Recycling means processing waste for re-use.

Videos were also shown to the students in school. The aim is to let them understand more about recycling and what is happening to our earth and how everyone can do their part in helping to save the earth. They are a few things which they had learnt from this recycling campaign.......

1. Do not throw away bottles after using its contents because they damage the environment.

2. Never discard a plastic bag after using it only ones.

3. Do not litter a picnic ground with aluminum cans after eating or drinking their contents.

4. Do not throw the newspapers away after reading them.

5. Donate the old clothes to those who are less fortunate.

At the same time, the school also had a Q & A programme. The students are encouraged to ask and share their opinions in this programme. We have all these programme will give a big impact to all the students of SJK(C) Kong Min.
