“Green Ambassadors” Showtime

We, the “Green Ambassadors” put up a presentation ‘Love is Green’ in our school. We performed songs about Save the earth. Apart from that, we also gave a poem that was ‘I don’t want to see the Earth die’. 
The objective of this presentation was to give awareness to the students in our school. The students were very excited with our presentation. The students were made aware of BPmyscience challenge and the green activities we did in our school. Even though the final BPmyscience challenge is in August 2010, we hope to continue our mission together with our schoolmates to learn of ways we can reduce our carbon footprint and to save our beloved earth. Use Both Sides Of The Page To Print Or Copy

                                            

      On this fine day, I have went to the ICT room to find some information about Co2. One more job I can do to play a role on saving mother earth is to use paper thriftily. Students or teachers that print on paper can use both the sides one a sheet of paper. I feel that we are wasting if we only use 1 side of the paper and then just throw it. I recommend you guys to use both sides of the paper to print or copy. This way, we can reduce the paper usage and also save the environment. Together, we can save the earth.

Read The News Online To Save Newspaper, Trees And Carbon

Today, when I was on the way to the school library, I saw a lot of old newspapers. I think that it is such a waste of paper and the trees on our earth. I got an idea to encourage the students to read newspaper online. While using this method, we can save lots of paper and trees. If we do not save paper, the number of carbon released will increase day by day as factories release carbon when making paper. So, do what we can to save mother earth.

‘Climate Change Awareness Board’

We have prepared some articles about recycling, love green and save the earth, these articles are from newspapers and magazines. These articles are prepared for posting on the notice board in our school. The headmaster has chosen a notice board that is located in a strategic spot and it can be seen by everyone.Anybody that comes into our school would surly see the latest news about what activities that our team has done.We also got some help from a few of our parents that are interested to join us to gather some articles that can give awareness to Kong Min’s students.We really appreciate our parents for supporting us.
